Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Specialist to join our Analytics Division. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling to drive data-driven decision-making within the organization. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop predictive models, uncover business insights, and help steer strategic initiatives that align with our goals.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Modeling: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Develop and deploy predictive models using machine learning and statistical techniques.
  • Algorithm Development: Design and implement advanced algorithms to solve business problems, focusing on optimizing processes and improving outcomes.
  • Data Strategy: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and define the data strategy, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Visualization & Reporting: Build intuitive and impactful data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative Projects: Partner with software engineers, product managers, and other teams to integrate data solutions into products and services.
  • Research & Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI, and apply them to innovate within the organization.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience: 4+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or analytics roles.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience in libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and Pandas.
  • Statistical Knowledge: Expertise in statistical methods, experimental design, and A/B testing.
  • Big Data Tools: Proficiency with big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Visualization Skills: Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or custom D3.js visualizations.
  • Data Management: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, ETL processes, and data pipeline management.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for deriving meaningful insights from complex datasets.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced Degree: Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
