We are looking for a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our Supply Chain Division. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our supply chain operations, from procurement to distribution. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that our supply chain processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the company's strategic goals.
Responsibilities
Supply Chain Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain, including inventory management, procurement, and logistics.
Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services.
Logistics Coordination: Oversee the logistics operations, ensuring that products are delivered on time and in the most cost-effective manner.
Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels to ensure that the right products are available at the right time, while minimizing excess stock and reducing waste.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the supply chain and implement changes that drive efficiency and reduce costs.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor key supply chain metrics and prepare reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure that all supply chain activities comply with legal regulations and quality standards.
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field, with a proven track record of managing complex supply chain operations.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is a plus.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with experience in contract management and supplier negotiations.
Project Management: Proficiency in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools, such as ERP systems, TMS, and WMS.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all supply chain activities.
